I would like to thank all of you that have contacted me to discuss backflow prevention and cross connection control over the past year. This is obviously an area that needs further development and regulation, particularly with the increase in alternative water supplies.
2007 has been personally rewarding having been a speaker at the ABPA Conference in Reno, Nevada, and achieving a qualification to teach plumbing.
2008 should also be interesting with the ABPA Conference in Indianapolis, and further development of the backflow testers course at Chisholm Institute.
